Suicide Intervention
Immediate, non-clinical support for anyone 16+, and affected by suicide
At The Martin Gallier Project, we provide life-saving, non-clinical suicide intervention support with no barriers, no waiting lists, and no referral criteria. Our service is built on accessibility, compassion, and immediate action, because when someone is in a suicidal crisis, every moment counts.

All referrals are contacted within 24 hours by a dedicated Suicide Intervention Worker
Skilled, compassionate support delivered by an experienced team with a deep understanding of suicidal crisis, often rooted in lived experience
A focus on identifying the “third option” — a choice to stay safe for now — supporting individuals to explore reasons for living when hope feels lost
Collaborative, comprehensive safety planning, tailored to the individual and designed to disable suicide plans
Practical, person-centred support that is responsive to each individual’s needs and community context
No assumptions, no judgement — just real support, when and where it’s needed most
